Canada Rainfall

There are many rainfall records in Canada, although many have not been updated to the 2010s on the KNMI website and those available mainly commenced in the 1930s or 1940s.   Using monthly rainfall data available on the website of KNMI (the Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute), I have analysed the annual rainfalls at eight stations in Canada.

The Canada analysis is for eight stations.   The earliest record commenced in 1922 (Inukjuak).   These eight stations each have between 54 and 75 years of complete annual data.

The following are plots of the annual (Jan-Dec) rainfalls at each of the eight stations.   The red line is of the five-year average rainfall.

Port Hardy  1945-2017

Fort Nelson  1938-2017

The Pas  1944-2017

Eureka  1948-2016

Coral Harbour  1946-2017

Inukjuak  1940-2017

Moosonee 1933-2017

Goose Bay 1942-2017

Comments:

.  The available records were mainly only since the 1930s and 1940s

.  There are no abnormal trends in the annual rainfall.
